  We left Jerusalem behind as we travel to Tiberias in the region of the Galilee. In a valley just past Bethany, we find the Greek Orthodox monastery of St George. The valley is the route between Jerusalem and Jericho.

We visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, a bizarre warren of chapels on many levels, containing Golgotha, where Cgrist was crucified and his tomb. We said morning prayer in the Armenian chapel.       This is adjacent to the chapel
