In St John’s Gospel it is at the feeding of the 5,000 that Jesus feeds the crowd in Eucharistic fashion, and we visited the reputed site where is occurred – because someone kindly marked the spot with a basalt stone, seen under the altar here at The Church of the Multiplication.
We, in turn, concelebrated Eucharist at an altar on the shore of the Sea of Galilee just near this spot.

What a great privilege for us all to be so close to where Christ lived out his gospel.

Yes, your images and descriptions have certainly given me a new perspective on the stories and teachings that I hear read by someone else. I’ve seen some images and comments from Colleen, and they’ve been from her/their view and now yours are before me with new insights. It brings to light other things, or perhaps it is the place that I’m now in personally. The new alb and stole look very nice.
