It was quite a touristy place, given its location, but was also rather grand.
One evening I had dinner near to my home base, at The Wolseley on Piccadilly.
It had the ambiance of dining in a banking chamber.
The food was great and I splurged on some dessert wine.
The meal left me quite satisfied.
