For lunch during my full-day tour, I took the opportunity of trying pintxos (pinchos) a Basque specialty, rather than the popular tapas (leaves my hungry like Japanese food).
You fill your own plate from a buffet-style display of various pintxos, all sitting on crusty bread secured by a toothpick, and they charge you for the number of toothpicks left on the plate.
Totally yum.
