I have encountered a few rivers and creeks in my travels. Above is the Avon River which runs through Christchurch. It is very clean and about the size of Cambridge’s Cam, hence the punting which you can see in this photo.
Queenstown too has a stream running through it, no doubt sources from the snow-capped Remarkable Mountains behind the city. It winds it’s way through the shopping streets, opening into the bay at my favourite seat – see earlier post.
