Row, row, row your boat

Well no rowing was involved, fortunately, by we did have the pleasure of crossing the Sea of Galilee in a boat.

Half way across, the captain stopped the engines so that we could pray together on the silent lake.

Reaching our destination, the Ron Beach Hotel where we pull in at the spot where we have Evening Prayer and Compline each night.

  1. Could almost hear the silence, what great photos. Is it really a sea, or a lake? I suppose the surface would be ruffled in a high wind.

What a lovely place to have Compline each night. The sea or lake is huge, plenty of fish, and scares with a huge wind. The gentle calmness of these photos would be replaced in colours and high waves. It looks delightful in these photos.
