I have flown first class once before (always on points) but my flights from Hong Kong through Dubai to Amsterdam were a cut above.
There were only two other passengers in first on the flight to Dubai, so I received a lot of attention from my assigned stewardess. She plied my with champagne, chocolates and gifts. I have a full bag of goodies which I then had to carry with me during the rest of my flights.
She even took this short video of me and several photos which she has placed in cards so that I could give them to friends (warning).
The food was great.
There was a spa bathroom which I used on the flight to Amsterdam.
From Dom Pérignon to Château Guiraud dessert wine and Tia Maria, I felt obliged to partake. When would this be offered again?
The sleeping set-up was fine and I had a good rest.
