The evening prior to disembarkation all the suitcases are left outside our staterooms and the crew get them into the hold and then into the terminal for collection. An early start as I had to be out by 7.50am, disembark, find my suitcase and board a bus to London St Pancras. It all went smoothly.

I even managed manhandling all my luggage on the tube (it was a Sunday) to Liverpool St station and my accommodation for one last evening at he Pan Pacific Hotel Bishopsgate.

I went for a walk to take in some of the neighbouring architecture.

The sculptures above, in S Botolph’s Churchyard were part of an City of London exhibition.

St Ethelburga’s is now a Centre for Reconciliation and Peace (not sure what they are reconciling).
