A sunny day required a hat

This morning I went on a guided walk through the town. Our guide was Barry, from Glasgow. Despite having lived in Norway for 43 years, his accent required subtitles.

The word ‘ting’ refers to a group of elders sitting together to discuss abandonment resolve and issue. Place names beginning with ‘Ting’ or ending in ‘by‘ suggest that they were settled by Vikings.

Glassworks

We when to a local glassblowing factory.

I bought a round vase – salmon colour (not shown in this display)
