Monday, at sea

Our first of two sea days, no ports of call today or on the way back – Saturday.

Lots of walking

Arose to find that, while the ship’s clocks had gone forward 1 hour, my iPhone had not, so I had to remember that it was one hour behind. I have a lot of practice with this as my car clock is always behind in daylight saving time.

Sunny morning at breakfast

I had my first Bridge lesson. The hardest part is remembering what cards have already been played. Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to do that.

My first hand of cards

I won the first round (or whatever it is called). No bidding at this stage. Perhaps I will quit while I am ahead. One more lesson on Saturday (only run class on days at sea).

Went to a lecture on The history of the Global Space Programme, which I enjoyed and am looking forward to his follow-up lecture.

Another lecture then on Viking invaders.
