Saucy Worcester

A momentary stop in Bristol, we whisked off to Worcester where Brad has a holiday let, right on the canal -super-convenient. Great spot and view from this charming ‘Coronation St’ home. Last time I sat it was pre-renovation, so updated photos follow

Then a walk around town, first to The Commandery, the Royalist Civil War headquarters of Charles I against Nat Oliver Cromwell’s forces. Not a museum and refreshment rooms by the canal.

Then on for a walk along the canal and the houseboats.

Gin bar and distillery with interesting art (I resisted buying anything at all)

it was a brilliant day and we walked back through the city.

Dear Ian, you looked so at home in the UK, for some reason you looked like you might have lost weight. But can it be? with all those good food and cocktails?
