If there was one building in the world that I wanted to see, it is The Barcelona Pavillion, designed by Mies van der Roche and built by Germany National Pavillion for the Barcelona International Exhibition in 1929. So I went straight there.
It is modernism in perfection.
What a genius in design! Seems to be simple, yet all the features of it fit together so well!! It looks as though it could have been constructed in the last 20 years. It’s very nice to see you featured in each blog too. You look very relaxed.
Re-looking at this, I love the clean lines and the angles that they form. No wonder you went straight there. It has been a lovely image for me to carry in my head.
