Great start to the day wandering up to Oxford Street through Berkeley Square,
discovered some interesting highways and byways,
noted some interesting parking techniques,
saw some interesting galleries (window shopping only),
and collecting some altered prêt-a-porter necessities (a new dinner suit).
Called in to Watts & Co, where I am now addressed as ‘Archdeacon’ (haven’t received their account yet, thankfully).
Saw some new elements in Westminster that I had not visited before, such as the Jewel Tower.
Built by Edward III as a personal treasury, and originally surrounded by moat (as you do) connected to the Thames.
I called into the Church House bookshop for some fresh inspiration on intercession for our 8am and Wednesday services, and them, given the sunny day, took some snaps of well-known Westminster structures.
